After fucking up my 1st attempt (you can also view the pictures at that link), I made damn sure to look at the maps properly and get the right info. And guess what? I still fucked up! Just like last time, I was in the mood for some riding. I had time to get some breakfast and hit up the Hampton Inn on Kirkman. You know I had to make a waffle there, right? Them shits is on point! I made sure I had a decently full stomach before departing. Tons of hot chicks there and the majority of them weren’t jailbait. If I didn’t have a different mission, I woulda been mackin’ for sure. I woke up that morning feeling like taking a bike ride and I’d heard about the Shingle Creek Trail before and wanted to do it. I did my research online about it first. There’s supposed to be a trail several miles long that loops from the Marriott Grande Vista (MGV) to Hunter’s Creek Elementary and back. I read other people’s reviews, looked at the trail map, people’s pics, online maps, and it looked like it would be something fun and different. It was a go for me. It was hot outside so I made sure to wear the right clothes. I brought some trail mix with me to eat along the way for breakfast. Then I stuffed my bike in the trunk of my car and was on my way. It was early; probably close to 9am.
