Sunday was a pretty chill day for me and I had some time to kill. I wanted to go out and do something because the next 5 weeks will be extremely busy for me and I hadn’t gone out to do anything extracurricular in a grip. This’ll be my last week of freedom for a while so I had to get out and make it count. I Like The Improv on Facebook and they had a free ticket deal for Dean Napolitano who was headlining. I thought about sharing the link thinking others would bite and asking around if anyone wanted to go but I didn’t feel like it. I had to do my research on Dean first. Never heard of him. I peeped some of his stuff on YouTube and it was all clean. I had to dig a little deeper for the dirty stuff (Hurricane Lakeisha being LOL

Having been to the 1st Comedy Jam (read about that here), there was no way I was missing this one cuz it had names that I recognized and had seen on tv many times before but had never seen live. I skipped out on the 2nd one. Not enough familiarity or name power to draw me in. But this one was a definite go. I bought my ticket early on and got what turned out to be an excellent seat. I’d say it was almost perfect cuz it was close enough to see the comedians faces, no obstructions, no one in front of me, and no one could keep being a bother by coming and going often making me have to stand up and move for them. I say almost perfect cuz idiots are unavoidable. No matter what I do or where I go, there’s always gotta be someone

I went to this event with a former friend who shall remain nameless. Former because some people are just too difficult to be friends with and can’t be honest with themselves, much less anyone else, and I ain’t the type to allow any form of negativity to seep into my life. I trim the fat when I need to so that my life stays positive and on the right track. I found out about this event cuz Lopez was performing at the Hard Rock a day or two before this one. I coulda went to the Hard Rock that I’ve been to many times before or someplace new like the Straz Center. It’s obvious what choice I made.
I did my research online as far as ticket prices and seating location and decided to get the cheapest ones all the way at the top near the middle. Former friend
